Brochure printing to incorporate social media?
Companies that use brochure printing could benefit from publishing the booklets on their websites, it has been claimed.
Firms that use brochure printing as part of their marketing strategy could benefit from a higher level of engagement with their consumers by combining the practice with social media.
That is the view of Christina Davis, who wrote in a piece for the Worcester Business Journal Online that companies should incorporate a degree of social media marketing into everything they do.
She quoted the message delivered by Harry Gold, chief executive officer and managing partner of Overdrive Initiative, at a recent conference that having a high number of Twitter or Facebook followers is only worthwhile if they convert into spending customers.
Therefore it is more important to focus on connecting with consumers rather than seeing social media sites as popularity contests.
Ms Davis proposed organisations invite customers to submit photos to be featured in their brochures and publish the brochures online with links to share them on Facebook, which increases engagement with purchasers.
Furthermore, Randy Gerson recently commented in a piece for Dynamic Chiropractic brochures are crucial to marketing and need to complement a firm's website.
