Business card printers to benefit job seekers?
Those looking for work may find using the services of business card printers helpful.
The services of business card printers could be particularly useful for those looking for a job, following comments from one expert.
Career coach Marshall Brown advised one reader in the Washington Post to network using business cards in order to find their next work opportunity.
Being unemployed is no reason not to have a business card, as an individual can still have one printed with their contact information - such as their name, address, email and phone number - and use it as a "calling card", he said.
The item should be kept simple and professional, Mr Brown stated, using heavy cardstock and no "fancy logos or fonts".
"Having an actual printed business card can say a lot about your brand, your image and your professionalism," he remarked.
Mr Brown recommended the reader use the services of a business card printer as soon as possible in order to be prepared for their next networking event.
Furthermore, technology journalist Ian Grayson recently noted on a blog named Hydraponion the cards continue to thrive despite the rise of smartphones and digital applications.
