Change4Life initiative could make use of cheap flyers
The government may wish to use cheap flyers in its most recent healthy eating drive.
The latest phase of the government's Change4Life campaign has been launched, in a move that could see cheap flyers used as a promotional strategy.
Named the Great Swapathon, the initiative will give parents help and advice on how to make their families more healthy in 2011, the Department of Health announced.
Britons are being urged to replace at least one bad habit for a healthy one and will be offered a ?50 book of vouchers for money off recommended food and activities, as well as recipes for nutritional alternatives to snacks.
Health secretary Andrew Lansley said: "This is a very exciting initiative. It's a great example of how government, the media, industry and retailers can work together to help families to be healthy."
Thomas Cook may also be considering the use of flyer printing services, after Marketing Week reported the travel company will launch a second advertising campaign starring Louise and Jamie Redknapp.
