Cheap flyers 'should include links to social media profiles'
Companies that use the services of flyer printers may wish to heed the advice of one expert.
Firms that use the services of flyer printers ought to promote their social networking profiles on their printed materials, it has been suggested.
Renee Quinn, chief operating office of IPWatchdog, stated in an article for her online magazine businesses should incorporate social media into their marketing and brand-building strategies in 2011.
She said simply creating a profile is not enough and people need to keep their online pages active, while ensuring they reflect the brand the company wishes to portray.
Ms Quinn noted promoting social media profiles is another important issue and this can be done through links on email signatures, websites and blogs.
Furthermore, company owners ought to consider including their profile URLs on all their printed materials, such as business cards and flyers, she continued, as these can be passed on to others who individuals think may be interested in their content.
Her remarks follow those made recently by Chris Combemale, executive director of the Direct Marketing Association, who described direct mail as an attractive option due to its "measurability and accountability".
