Environmental marketing survey may affect flyer printers
Flyer printing firms may be interested in a survey revealing consumers' feelings about green issues.
Flyer printing companies might wish to reprioritise sustainability following the results of a recent marketing survey.
The study of 400 consumers on green brands demonstrates that environmental issues are doubtless to become "an increasingly important element" of advertising, according to Matt Counsell of McCallum Layton in a piece for Marketing Week.
"Our survey indicated that UK consumers have fairly grave concerns on a number of issues," he explained.
It revealed almost half of respondents tried to use firms with good ethical and environmental policies, while another two-fifths actively avoided those with poor credentials.
Furthermore, four out of five people believe the government should be doing more to force businesses to become more socially and environmentally responsible.
And over half of Britons stated they expect their spending on eco-friendly products to increase over the next 12 months.
Flyer printers could also benefit from reporting their carbon emissions, after chairman of the Cumbria Green Business Forum John Barwise noted doing so is an investment in the future success of an organisation.
