Firms 'should personalise' offerings from business card printers
Businesses have been advised to avoid sticking to a standard template when ordering new business cards.
Firms need to add a unique touch to the templates offered by business card printers when producing new promotional materials, one expert has suggested.
Writing for the Wall Street Journal, Shara Tibken explained companies "should try and tweak the designs a little" in order to make them unique.
"Avoid looking like you just filled in the blanks on a form," she advised, adding most business card printers offer options for personalisation.
Ms Tibken also spoke of the importance of matching the style of a business card to the company's brand, stating a very formal design would not be ideal for an enterprise that is trying to present itself as trendy and edgy.
Artists may be among those who are looking to utilise the services of business card printers, as art house owner Julia Evans recently told the Round Town News they are an ideal promotional tool that can be used to promote a website showcasing a portfolio.
