Flyer printing 'is a way of getting environmental messages across'
Companies could benefit from communicating their environmental policies through flyers, it has been suggested.
Flyer printing is one effective way for companies to impart messages about their environmental strategies to their customers.
That is according to journalist Liz Barclay, who said consumers now want to know that the firms they purchase from are behaving in a sustainable way.
There is "real value" in being green, so firms should take every opportunity to tell customers about their eco-friendly practices, she explained.
"Direct mail is an ideal vehicle to showcase your environmental credentials through messages and packaging," Ms Barclay commented.
Furthermore, Luan Wise - marketing manager at OnePost - advised organisations to include a recycle logo on their direct mail materials, such as flyers, as research shows this is perceived to be the most recognisable symbol of a company's sustainability.
Earlier this month, Russell Parsons stated in an article for Marketing Week direct mail can help firms develop lasting relationships with consumers, as well as build brands.
