Flyers are one way of maximising return on investment, but firms may wish to combine this method with other marketing strategies, it has been suggested.
Writing for Small Business Trends, Jamillah Warner stated company owners can improve their services and products by sharing tips and motivational stories with other entrepreneurs.
One website that can help facilitate this is Yellowbook 360 Building Success, where those giving advice include Serge and Carmen Sognonvi, owners of US organisation Urban Martial Arts.
The couple stated they have found both offline marketing - such as flyers - and online mediums like Facebook effective in maximising their return on investment.
Ms Sognonvi added adaptability is crucial in marketing, as just because one method does not work straight away, this does not mean it is bad for a business - it may just need to be applied in a different manner.
Furthermore, the author of an article for NZ Business magazine recently suggested direct marketing materials such as flyers should be combined with digital offerings.
