Folded leaflet printing 'can help drive a firm back to profit'
Direct mail, such as folded leaflets, is a good way of keeping in touch with customers, it has been claimed.
Using folded leaflet printing is an effective way for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to increase revenue, it has been suggested.
Amie Peters of An Post stated direct mail - including leaflets - is a great way to stay in touch with customers, as well as encourage them to visit company websites.
"Research has proven that direct mail is the perfect tool to help drive a business back to profit," she commented.
Ms Peters added SMEs in the business-to-business sector are particularly well placed to see significant results "from using effective and powerful direct mail".
She was commenting on An Post's new campaign for a direct mail tool targeted at SMEs, which quotes research carried out by Amarach earlier this year showing 80 per cent of users find direct marketing a valuable means of generating new sales and business leads.
And organisations planning to use folded leaflets as part of their promotional strategy might like to benefit from a 20 per cent discount on extra direct mail volumes sent in March and April 2011 being offered by Royal Mail.
