Linklaters reverses decision to stop print brochures for graduates
Research showing graduates prefer receiving print brochures has prompted Linklaters to reverse its decision to stop producing the promotional items.
Law company Linklaters had shelved plans to move its graduate recruitment brochure online.
The firm had intended to end production of the promotional item and publish the information on its website, but has reversed its decision after research showed students prefer the brochures.
According to the Lawyer, the majority (81 per cent) of the law students questioned by High Flyers want to receive some form of brochure from the magic circle company, with 71 per cent of those favouring paper options.
President of the Cardiff University law society Marcus Coates-Walker praised the decision, telling the news source "paper-based products are much easier to read" than their online counterparts.
"You can't go through an online brochure and mark out sections with a highlighter pen or Post-it note," he added.
Linklaters, which as of November 1st 2009 employed 2,266 qualified lawyers, is one of numerous law firms that offer graduate schemes to university students.
